“Weight Value” from 2018 was a public performance outside The Art Institute of Chicago where I was attempting to sell the dust collected inside this big art institution. I got the dust from the cleaning personal working at The Art Institute of Chicago and therefore my role was like an art dealer. I would earn 25 % of the price the dust was sold for and the cleaning personal would get the 75 %. I decided the price by measuring the weight on a scale and calculated the cost by converting this weight to the same scaling as the weight of gold.
