Almost 2/3 of Denmark’s total area is agricultural land. It is therefore a rare phenomenon in Denmark when the top soil is left untouched. But on the slopes between Aalborg and Sebbersund in North Jutland you can find untouched top soil.
In Walk on Stone and Bone, the participants took part in a series of ritual micro-excavations on the slopes and tumulus between Aalborg and Sebbersund. The past, our relationship to nature, found objects and human burial played a central role in this walk, the excavations and in the conversations.
