Imagining a new relationship between Copenhagen’s citizenry and the waters that sustain us, ‘Between a boat and a bridge’ explores notions of maintenance, purification, and (re)birth.
Over the course of one hour, performance artist Nanna Rosenfeldt-Olsen creates a new route through the lakes surrounding Dronning Louises bridge, choreographing the first dance of a weed-cutting boat.
Accompanying this aquatic ballet from the historic bridge, celebrated violinist Liv Vester Larsen responds to the movements of the vessel through musical improvisation.
